2023 Audi Q8 vs. 2024 BMW X6 | Greenville SC

2023 Audi Q8

vs 2024 BMW X6 in Greenville, SC

As the leader of the Audi SUV family, the new 2023 Audi Q8 isn't one to take shortcuts — especially when it comes to luxury or comfort. Touches of German design extend to every aspect of the model, surrounding driver-centric interactive displays with fine grain ash natural brown wood inlays and providing warm or cool ambiance with the optional multicolor contour/ambient LED interior lighting package. Executives and parents will both appreciate the power soft-closing doors since they prevent damage resulting from slamming, and the power tailgate makes loading and unloading groceries, gear or home improvement supplies a breeze. Need more space inside? Simply fold down the 40/20/40 split folding seatbacks on the sliding rear seats to unlock 60.7 cubic feet of cargo volume. The Audi Q8 offers enough room for a total of five passengers, but there's no such thing as a second-class seat. Heated rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control and plenty of legroom ensure your fellow travelers are content, which will make the ride that much more enjoyable in the new 2023 Audi Q8.

As you can see, the new 2023 Audi Q8 and the core models of the new 2024 BMW X6 are fairly similar. But there is a price difference in the starting MSRPs, and when you consider just how similar these two models are, you may wonder: Why has BMW appraised the X6 $1,100 more than the Audi Q8?1,2 It can't be because of its available maximum towing capacity, which is 500 pounds less than the Audi Q8 model's.3,4 It also can't be because it offers roof rails, because no matter if you're building the model from scratch or adding BMW accessories later, we couldn't find the feature listed anywhere on the BMW website. Maybe the BMW X6 model's higher starting MSRP is because it has standard all-wheel drive and optional power soft closing doors. No, that's not it, either — the Audi Q8 has both, too. The Audi Q8 also has larger standard wheels (which increase its fuel efficiency) and standard HD Matrix-design LED headlights (which refocus headlight glare to avoid blinding oncoming and incoming traffic). Meanwhile, the BMW X6 "boasts" having LED headlights (which have been standard on nearly every model in the last five years, luxury or not) and smaller standard wheels.
