Are you seeing what we're seeing? It appears that the new 2023 Audi Q3 is the champion in this race. While the new 2023 Volvo XC40 has many admirable qualities, performance, convenience and safety aren't its strong suites. Let's start with the drivetrain. An SUV without standard all-wheel drive is like, well, a fish out of water. The Audi Q3 dominates the road with its classic quattro® all-wheel drive system, while those driving in their Volvo XC40 front-wheel-drive-only models will merely stare with envy. Moving on to the interiors of these vehicles, the disparity only widens. Both SUVs provide space for five total passengers and standard heated front seats, but only the Audi Q3 has a standard power panoramic sunroof and a tri-zone automatic climate control system. Only on higher (and more expensive) trims of the Volvo XC40 will you find a power panoramic moonroof and dual-zone automatic climate control (which is still one zone less than that of the Audi Q3). The difference between the available audio systems is also marked, so we'll sum it up: Receive two additional speakers, four channels and 80 watts of power with the Sonos® Premium Sound System with 3D sound, available only on the Audi Q3.
