Audi Sport® engineers took this natural law to the extreme by using lightweight materials with an ASF® design, or aluminum space frame, and then over time improved upon it with an ASF® multi-material space frame that places aluminum, carbon composites and a mixture of other metals where their strength-to-weight properties are most effective.
