The automotive industry is rapidly advancing with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric vehicles, driven by increasing demand and a heightened awareness of reducing CO2 emissions to protect the environment. Audi is committed to this responsibility and aims to play a crucial role in the solution. Electrified vehicles not only uphold the Audi brand's pledge to cut CO2 emissions but also offer drivers numerous distinct advantages that traditional gas-powered models cannot match. Benefits of Choosing Electrified

Eco-friendly
As we mentioned before, when you choose to purchase or lease a hybrid vehicle, you’ll be giving the earth a breather from its daily intake of CO2 emissions. Some of those fast-charging all-electric models can even qualify as zero-emission vehicles, which only means that there isn’t a single drop of fuel that’s burned for power. Other hybrids can now reach MPGe estimates of over 40, 45, even 50, while all-electric vehicles can top even that. The 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron®, for example, has an EPA-estimated all-electric range of 285 miles.1 Have the transportation you need all while reducing your carbon footprint.

Wallet-pleaser
With such high MPGe estimates and (for some models) no fuel used at all, the long-term cost of fuel consumption could be lower for the hybrid and all-electric vehicle options than their gas-powered counterparts. Save yourself the trip to the gas station, and remember, since all-electric vehicles operate without your standard engine upkeep (like engine belt replacements, oil changes, transmission fluid flushes), your wallet will thank you even more when you factor in the engine maintenance as well.

Tax Incentives
Not only will you see long-term costs differ, but the upfront costs can be lowered for a qualifying hybrid or all-electric purchase with federal and state tax incentives. The U.S. Department of Energy incentivizes American consumers to purchase qualifying vehicles in order to build and maintain the market for electric vehicles, which is great news for you. If you’d like to see which rebates, credits or incentives you qualify for based on where you live, visit the Alternative Fuels Data Center and select your state.

Warranty
Many don’t know that the standard battery warranties for all-electric or hybrid vehicles can sometimes be better than a gas-powered vehicle. For example, the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron® comes with the standard Audi New Vehicle Limited Warranty (coverage for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first) and a limited battery warranty (coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first).2 Some warranties even transfer from owner to owner, so if you find an electrified model in our used inventory, it could still be covered until its original warranty.
